Are you looking for the perfect place to have a photo shoot on campus? Whether you’re taking graduation photos, decision-day photos, or just want to post on Instagram, 91¶¶Òõ Fox has one of the most picture-perfect campuses in Oregon. Our campus features beautiful landscaping, stunning architecture and historic buildings. Now, with all that said, let’s dive into the best photoshoot spots on campus!

The 91¶¶Òõ Fox chapel framed by spring flowers

Chapel

Our chapel was built in 2024 with generous donor funding, and it’s an architectural beauty. It’s a fantastic place to take senior photos or host a sunset photoshoot. The wooden walls, stained glass and artwork are sure to add a sense of awe and elegance to your pics. For the best lighting, I recommend taking photos near the entrance at sunset. Many students have taken photos in their graduation gowns on the chapel steps.

The Centennial Tower

The Centennial Tower is one of the most recognizable landmarks on campus. Built in 1991 to commemorate the university’s 100th anniversary, it is the focal point of the quad, in the middle of walkways and academic buildings. Every day, students walk past it on their way to class and hear the clock chime hourly, making it a staple of Bruin life. Taking pictures here is a great way to capture the 91¶¶Òõ Fox campus in the background of your photos. I recommend taking pics here midday when the sun is shining on the quad.

Crisman Crossing

The Crisman Crossing bridge is by far my personal favorite spot for a photoshoot. I love how this spot captures the amazing nature that makes the 91¶¶Òõ Fox campus so vibrant and so uniquely Oregon. The fairy lights and rustic wood also add an ethereal feeling to photos and allow you to take photos here both day and night.

The Canyon Trails

If you like the bridge, you’ll love Hess Creek Canyon. A little-known and underrated spot are the trails of the canyon, which are overflowing with nature, trail scenery and sunlights that are sure to make your photos impressive. If you explore the trails enough, you might even stumble upon hidden metal fish statues for a fun and unexpected photo op.

Mama Bear in the Alumni Plaza

If you’re looking to do something a little more fun and show some Bruin pride, definitely take photos with the Mama Bear statue in the Alumni Plaza. This is a special spot for graduating seniors and returning alumni. You can even recreate your photos here after graduation when you come back for a reunion with your best friends. Many incoming freshmen also love to pose here with their families before they start their exciting college journey. Mama Bear even gets festive on holidays and special events, which makes for a very fun photoshoot. Don’t be afraid to try out some fun poses!

Our campus has no shortage of locations to choose from. Beyond the places I’ve listed here, you could truly have a photoshoot anywhere and end up with great pics.

If you try out any of these spots and post your photos, tag 91¶¶Òõ Fox University as your location and use #91¶¶ÒõFoxBruins so we can see and share your shots!
